1776 Men's Grooming Parlor

My 10yr old son adored that there is a little chart to choose his style. We got that settled and DJ cut his curly med course hair into the exact style he asked for. Asked for a rating on his cut 1-10 (10 is best) his response was a shouted 150!! Kid loved mom approved.

I used to come here a few years ago and always had a great experience, but this was my first visit back in over two years — and unfortunately, things have changed, not for the better. The person who cut my hair spent the entire appointment talking about her political views — including how she is anti-capitalism, dislikes wealthy people, and really upset by the National Guard serving in Memphis. That’s not what I’m looking for when I get a haircut. I won’t be returning.

John was incredible. Probably the most pleasant experience I’ve had at a salon / barber ever. Took my cousin for his first barber experience and John made it sooo easy and amazing for him! Gave us the exact cut we were hoping for and in my opinion even better than I expected it to come out. 10/10. Thanks so much!

What an awesome and amazing experience. DJ has such a kind and gentle hands and she loves what she does... I haven’t had a haircut or beard trim for several years; I was very apprehensive about getting a cut and beard trim. DJ is a communicator and she is also a good listener. She understood my concerns and she knocked it out of the ball park… I couldn’t be happier with her. She’s AWESOME!! Thank you DJ!!

I usually go to the Collierville location and love it there. I recently moved to this part of town. I’ve tried 2 different stylists so far and both don’t seem to know what a bald razor fade is, despite me asking explicitly. The collierville location always does a straight razor around the sides, back, and above the ears and this place doesn’t. That wouldn’t be a problem but it costs extra for a razor fade and both times the employee did not even use a razor except the clean up the base of the back of the neck. Won’t be going again. Collierville is worth the drive.
