1st For Nails

Brought a family member in to rent a space at Thai business , the manager / owner was very welcoming at first , the same day we moved all our furniture and tools into the room we agreed on renting , the next day my mother came into work and everything was going well , later that evening the manager messaged her saying “ she did not feel comfortable “ and for her to come get her stuff , this is very unprofessional and discriminatory, please think twice before doing business with this person or with this establishment.

Lynn is the absolute best! I have been going to her off and on for years and she always listens to exactly what I want and exceeds my expectations!!!! As long as I am close to Carrollton I will never go anywhere else!!!!!

Second try with this place since it's near my house. Second disappointing experience. Polish was very thick out of the bottle so though the technician thinned out a bit. While that may have helped, she applied it in 2 very thick coats that weren't even (see photos). When I had to ask her to clean up the edges, she seemed a little irritated. She put me under a uv light while she rushed around to prep a pedicure station, then she declared my nails dry. As I was driving away, I realized that while the polish surface may have been dry, the thick coats were not. The surface was essentially floating on top. NOT going to give them another try. It seemed like the regular clients were very happy to be there.

1st For Nails is by far the best nail salon in Carrollton and the surrounding areas. I always get stiletto or almond shaped nails, which can be very difficult to shape properly. 1st for Nails is the only salon to consistently nail the shape and spend extra time to make sure you’re happy with your nails. Today I got my nails done by Chris and he was fantastic. The owner is also so sweet and always friendly/welcoming. Highly recommend!

I don't often go out to get mani/pedis - after the years of (eww) fungus reports, I just felt it wasn't worth the risk. I have all the tools to do it myself & like changing my nail color too often, anyway. But I have been reading about the new requirements to keep us safe and my niece invited me along to celebrate my sister's birthday, so I couldn't say no. So I made the drive to Carrollton and was welcomed by a very friendly staff when I entered. The poster on the door clearly states that masks are required and all staff wore masks the entire time. Times are getting a little more lax and I will admit I was happy when they told us we 3 could remove ours since we were all sitting together. The staff kept theirs on the entire time.
