Unfortunately, I had the worst cut I've ever had today with Amanda. We decided on cutting off 2 inches. She suggested face framing, so the front was shorter. I didn't realize she cut off more like 4 inches, or how terribly uneven and frizzy my hair was til after I left. She never gave me a mirror to look at the back of my hair, and I see why now. I also paid extra for a moisture treatment. It is hard to believe that after almost 2 hours, and $185, this is what happened to my hair. The top layer of that back of my hair is 2" shorter than the 4" she cut off, and it's super frizzy, my hair there is never frizzy. I don't know how she made my hair more frizzy with a moisture treatment. We discussed how frustrating it is to have half curly, and half straight hair, yet that is exactly how I left

Brought my daughter in for a cut and style with Mary and had an amazing experience. We showed her inspiration pictures and Mary asked lots of questions to make sure she knew what she wanted. She was great with my daughter, helped her understand how her desired haircut would look with her hair type and gave us tips on how to style it with different tools. Their prices are so accessible and they have an hourly rate so there are no surprises when it’s time to pay. The salon is cozy and everyone was really friendly. We already scheduled a follow up and will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know.

Listen, I’ve gotten $100+ cuts before, and after being explicit about what I want; pictures for 3b curls, with my face type, my hair has been butchered—more than once I’ve gone home and shaved my head bald. I had such an amazing experience today getting my haircut by Ransom. He did a fantastic job, really listened to my vision, and executed it perfectly. He was also a super friendly and genuine person, and I enjoyed the time spent there. As someone who has been looking for the right stylist for the last 8 years of living in the area, I think I’ve finally found one! My hair is thick and half wavy and half straight, and he seemed to understand how to work with it. I went with a layered shaggy cut, and it feels like me. Will definitely be back!

I have been getting my hair cut by Amanda for years. I absolutely love her salon and services. I was recently struggling with dry, tangling and breaking hair like never before. Bad like I couldn’t even comb out my own hair due to constant sudden tangling and breakage. She was able to tailor me a herbal and plant based tech treatment at the salon that seriously saved my hair. The texture was instantly smoothed and I am not having the same tangling issues as I was previously. Plus the leave-in conditioner that she recommended to boost the staying power of the treatment smells absolutely amazing and is also plant based. I would absolutely recommend Amanda for any of her hair services :)
