A Cut Above Barber Shop

Came for some tacos, left with a wicked fade! Found this place by accident, but will definitely be back. Ryan took amazing care of our son and made him feel like the only client in the joint. Thanks for A Cut Above Ryan!!

Ryan is awesome, he's been cutting my hair for over a year. Won't go anywhere else in Albuquerque. Highly, highly recommend. All the guys here are very friendly and do an amazing job

Best Barbershop in the State! All the barbers there are top notch. Ryan is my guy and I get my haircut weekly by him. He does his fades really well and my haircut always comes out looking fresh!

This place is one million percent awful. If I could give it negative stars, I would. These “men” pick and choose who they want to give good haircuts too. Have an appointment? Doesn’t matter to them, they will call you whenever they are done joking around. I have taken my son a couple of times thinking it was just that particular barber, but no. They bring the boys that sweep up the hair, most likely not licensed to cut hair for walk-ins. Recently, which is the last straw, my son’s taper was un-even. And the top was so uneven, one chunk was sitting so much lower than the rest of his hair. It was uneven all around. My boyfriend has a weird straight chunk sticking straight up and they cut off way more than anyone asked. They are rude and unprofessional and no one should be going back there.

Very clean shop the Atmosphere was relaxed and the barbers were top notch definitely where I'll be getting my son's faded up from now on
