You must ask for Melissa Rose!!! I’m about 25 years old and have gotten balayage for about the past 5 years. My previous stylist was booked and Melissa luckily had an opening! (it’s by appointment only) She did an AMAZING!!! Job. It wasn’t what I expected but I LOVED the surprised. I was between 3 different tones and she made this color happen. The salon itself, might not have the newer open, bright style with the fresh feeling but I promise you’re in amazing hands. Very reasonable prices and wonderful talent. Melissa was very knowledgeable and educational about my hair. What I had done: Color, Cut, hair styled and blow dried .

Cait is great! She did my highlights. It came out beautiful. She listens and easy to talk to. I recommend her. Will come back.

The absolute best hair salon, clean, profesdional, comfy. Melissa is an incredible stylist and is great with long hair too. She has cut my hair for years, and always listens to your requests, makes great suggestions. I am always delighted with the cut and style she does.

I love this salon! coming from a family of stylists, I had never tried any others...until A Cut Above. I will never go anywhere else! My hair isn’t the easiest but Melissa, effortlessly, makes me look fantastic every time. I never have to wait, they are always on time and through this pandemic they have followed every extensive guideline that our Gov has put forth. I feel totally safe going there. I have recommended a few people to this salon and I get a thank you text every single time they have an appt bc they are so pleased with the finished product. I have been going to A Cut Above for 20 years. I have thick, curly hair & Melissa has been making it look amazing all those years. Together, we pick out subtle color changes for every season & my hair always looks fresh & healthy. Linda, the owner, is a master stylist & many of my friends & family members entrust their manes with her. The salon is a good size so you don’t feel cramped in a tiny room breathing in chemicals. They also carry the latest hair care products & will only sell you products that will help your hair.
