AAFES Barber Shop

Go up the stairs by the SD desk, 2nd floor. Exit the stairwell, turn left, turn left, first door on the left. No complaints. I showed the nice lady a picture of the end state, asked for a low fade (nothing off the top), and received what you see in the photos. Faith restored (a little) in on-post barbers.

This is Lee's best kept secret (barber shop). I've been here on and off since 2018 for various trips. If you want a haircut done right, come here. The barber is the sweetest Korean lady you'll find that actually knows how to cut hair. Not sure where all of the hate from the other reviews are coming from; unless it's a different barber/wrong barbershop they're referring to. Current price is just over $16. There's usually also little to no wait either. The barber shop can be found on the second floor, around the corner from the ALU Library. Bonus: (after years of requesting) there is finally a credit card machine; no more worries about needed cash now.

Definitely just average or slightly below average. Not all barbers, but some are very, very rude and unprofessional. Not all, but most people that work on base or in the federal government sector are rude in general. Just my opinion, and they were no different! But they are cheap, so, it is what it is.

Why are they closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday? No shortage of Soldiers and GS civilians. Prices too high as well for exact same effort and when it was 16

Great military haircut, no line. Not sure what other reviewers experienced, but the sole barber was courteous and efficient. Located on the second floor of ALU.
