I asked for a shaggy bob-something soft, textured, and expressive of how I see myself. What I received was a jagged, uneven mullet that looked nothing like the photos we agreed on. Even after a “fix” I left feeling worse. The layers are so visibly uneven. The entire top layer around my whole head is the same length as my bangs so I have a bowl cut on top. This might sound dramatic to some, but as someone with Borderline Personality Disorder, my sense of self is already fragile. For the past month, I’ve felt like a stranger in my own body. This haircut triggered a deep identity spiral. Something that’s left me anxious, ashamed, and completely disconnected from who I am. Came in with an easy haircut already base cut similar to reference photo. Showed photo explained what I was looking for and what I what hair goal was. Hairstylist did not have skills to do this uncomplicated cut and did not ask for assistance from a senior stylist. She over texturized bangs, cut is uneven and is impossible to style. Considering just shaving my head. I will not be returning. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this is the worst haircut I have ever had.

I booked an appointment with Mazzy and am extremely satisfied with the service I got. I had very badly damaged and matted hair in the back and he spent hours working on it and did a fantastic job. I got it cut shorter with an undercut just how I wanted it. Honestly, if I could give more than five stars I would.

Amazing hairstyling shop, hands down the best in Denver! Super LGBTQ+ friendly—it’s evident in both the atmosphere and the people. Everyone does fantastic work, but Tim’s my personal favorite. If you’re someone who feels a bit of social anxiety or stress, this is definitely the place for you. 😊

I loved my experience at this salon! The people are so friendly, and the vibes are wonderful. I especially loved how vibrant, colorful, and openly queer this place is. In the current political climate, so many places are taking down their rainbows and capitulating to the people who want us to disappear. Not here! There's a beautiful Keith Haring inspired mural on the back wall, a big rainbow on the side wall, and a prominent pride flag in the window. It made me feel safe and inspired to show my own true colors as well. Five stars!
