Academy Barber Shop

Plenty of room in this Barber shop. The woman who cut my hair was extremely kind. Easy to talk to and get along with. She also takes precautions due to the pandemic which is great to see in any small business. She has clean tools for cutting hair. Also love the plants that she has around. $14 haircut may as well give her the $20 she definitely deserves the tip! Will definitely be coming here again every time I get my car looked at at Grease monkey!

Just had my first haircut by Monica. Very pleased!!! My barber retired last month. He is 80+ years old and is the only barber that EVER cut my hair.... I am 68 years old. I told Monica she has a steady new customer. I miss visiting with my old barber and good friend but I am glad I found Monica. Without hesitation, I highly recommend her.

Asked for a trim got a crew cut buzz cut. Charged me $23. Last time I was in she gave me a good cut for $18. She has the two prices and charges what she feels like

I was first introduced to this place via my dad, it's usually one person working here, the owner Monica. She's been here for 20 years. She is very quick and you hair looks great at the end of your session. There are plenty of chairs, can comfortably fit about 20 people sitting waiting in line for a cut. She usually takes about fifteen minutes per cut. I've walked into her shop when there are lots of people there and happily wait my turn, because I've come to find out your turn will come up quicker than you'd expect. In the middle of the week I've walked in to find I'm either the only one there or the 2nd person there. The shop itself is clean, she uses a vacuum shaver so not a buildup of hair on the floor. My husband and I have been getting our haircuts here for at least 15 years.. Our daughter is now a new customer. Monica is fast, and prices are wonderful. Monica is welcoming and has so many regular clientele. We are more that happy and pleased with this shop 😀
