Ada's Hair Braiding

First time I tried this shop and I am happy with the service. Took about 5 hours to complete & $200 total.. Braids are neat, good service , No complaints. Thank you mariam for doing a great job!

Decent prices, supplies hair, fast and neat. UPDATE: Since my last post. This style I've gotten 2 times already. The price went from 180 to 220 and my hair looks worse than it did the first time I paid $180. How does the price increase but the quality is horrible. 3 days in my hair looks like i had it for 2 weeks. Now im not even a month in and im ready to take my hair out . The lady that did my hair didn’t do well at all! Highly disappointed

Braider was doing all kinds of other stuff while doing my hair so a simple style took way longer than it should have and she didn't even give me what I asked for even though she said she saw the picture. This is the 2nd time I've gone there and over paid for mediocre service. Will not be returning. They don't care about customer satisfaction only their bottom line. Not the kind of business I like to patronize.

My first visit was December 2022 when I was pregnant and headed to the hospital in a few days. I got box braids mid back but they were done too tight. A few braids came out and some of my edges with it. The braids did look good and I got plenty of compliments, so I came for a second visit in January 9, 2024. I figured this time I would get knotless braids. I had been waiting for almost an hour, no one told me what was going on or who would be doing my hair. Eventually someone showed up, it was the same woman who did my hair a year ago. No apology for the wait. The braids look amazing but the ends of my hair looked terrible. Also, my hair broke off so badly because there was too much hair added. I think this will be last time visiting this place.

I took my daughter in for box braids. I showed the braider a photo of the style more than once and she still did it wrong. I wanted to be mad but couldn’t because she was an older lady and tried her best I guess but just couldn’t get it right. Rather than be mad, I’ll just find a new braiding spot. Only about two braiders know what they are doing. Just be sure to show a pic and be sure that the braider knows how to do the style before you sit in the chair. Photos below of what I asked for verses what I got and still had to pay full price for.😢
