I stumbled on this by chance one day and I'm glad I did. I was used to going all over to different hair stores for the best prices. The prices are amazing. The staff is very helpful and polite. They have a variety of braiding hair, wigs and accessories. Almost anything you need for your hair they have. It's a one stop shop.

It was early in the day so it wasn't crowded. They gentleman that works there is always very helpful, the ladies are USUALLY nice as well but they seem to focus on frequent shoppers rather than trying to help everyone. Every time I go its a different experience but they do have a large variety of products.

AFRA Beauty Supply Store is now located at 3443 Boston Road, across the street from it's former location. I popped in after a spur of the moment desire for crochet braids. They have a pretty good variety of hair for braids, crochet, and weaving, at competitive prices. There is a decent selection of wigs in the back. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They are well versed enough that you won't have to pull out your phone and point to pictures. 😉

They sell fake weaving needles. The weaving needle I bought was so huge , when I went to bend it a little bit , the needle (made out of plastic ) materials cracked. I really can't believe this how could you sell fake needles. They cost pennies over the internet and you make double from selling fakes . Smh
