African Braiding

Love the braids. I asked for knot less braids with straight parts and even parts. My hair is braided nicely put the parts and boxes are allover the place. I have large boxes and small boxes.. I had shown the lady a photo my parts looks nothing like what I requested. The first photo shows large parts, the second on shows small parts. These braids should have been the same size all over.

This salon was able to wash and braid my niece’s hair within just a couple hours. I called and they told me I can come now..... no wait. Very professional and they did a phenomenal job. She loved it 💯

I went into this shop for faux locs paid $180 for my locs to be unraveling in 4 days. Because I live out of town the owner did suggest I go somewhere and she’d pay for the lose locs to be fixed. I wanted my money back because as I figured more locs are coming out 3weeks later I reached out again to the owner’s cellphone and NO reply. Total waste of money and though the shop has good reviews you shouldn’t have to hope you’re sitting in the right chair in order to know a professional job will be done when spending your money.

I literally was googling place and saw that this place had good ratings and decided to check it out. I’m so glad I did. I usually don’t wear braids. I got triangle box braids. The girl that did my hair did a great job. Everyone has been complimenting me nonstop. I’m super satisfied. I love it and will definitely be going back. ———————————————————————- UPDATE: I’ve been coming here for five years and it’s just convenience at this point. The braids are never the size I ask for and the quality is hit or miss. The last time I went there I asked for waist length and they charged me for butt length because the braids were uneven and some of them reached my butt. I don't usually write reviews but I feel like I have to. I went in after my usual shop was closed and asked for simple box braids, had my own hair and everything. I could ignore the tightness but when I asked if the braids could be made smaller at the top or if the spacing could be closer I was scolded and told it was too late (no where near done) she said the price was set as if the price couldn't be changed. I ask a question about the style and she shuts me down immediately. I've never felt more uncomfortable.
