African Hair Braiding By Carole

Ms. Carole, is one of the best and such a sweetheart! I just went to her shop for the first time yesterday, and loved it. Love how she books appointments, fast/neatly braided, and we can chat from the beginning til end of the appointment so time fly’s when you’re with her. Such a down to earth person in/out. I booked my appointment for 8:30am and got out around 11:30, it doesn’t get no better than her! I’ll be coming back again; Ms. Carole and s/o to Taylor & her mom for putting me on to a new braiding spot. Thank you again ☺️

Carole I was amazed at how my hair came out and I still have my braids in 4 almost 5 weeks later, cornrows at that!! They still look good, was never too tight and you have such a gentle hand. On top of that I had to bring my 9 yr old son with me and she made him feel so welcomed and comfortable. Carole even waited for me because I was running late from being in an unexpected 14 minute traffic jam on the Bronx River. Thank you Carole for making this such a relaxing experience where I never had to worry, I must mention very AFFORDABLE as well! GOD bless you and thank you! I’ll be back soon!

This was probably one of the best braiding experience I have ever had. I washed and braided my hair at this salons and the braids are marvelous. So neat, I would definitely recommend them and I’m a hard critic. My only complaint was that she wasn’t aggressive enough in scrubbing my scalp while washing my hair, but that’s a cultural difference. Otherwise Quality, professionalism and affordability 5/5

The best hair braiding spot in the Bronx! I stumbled upon the shop summer of 2019 and I have gone to many different places but none compare! Carol even fixed 2 twist of mine (that she did not originally do) free of charge! Prices are reasonable. Great place all around.

I got my 5 year old daughter's hair braided here twice. Both times I scheduled an appointment with Carole and I came on time both times and when I got there she had someone in her chair! I had to wait over and hr and a half both times! Everyone knows young children have a short attention span so it you give me a time, please honor it! My daughter fell asleep and I had to hold up her neck for 20 minutes while she finished her hair. When I spoke to Carole about her not honoring my appointment time (10:00 the first visit and 9:30 the second time) she brushed off the conversation! She did a great job but she needs to respect customers time!
