This was my 3rd time coming here and it usually cost about $180 to get my hair done. This time I come in and show them the style and it’s identical to what I’d gotten before. The only thing that changed was the color of the hair for my Peekaboo braids. Instead I got charged $240 and then when we tried to get in touch with the owner for a price check she wasn’t at the shop when they’re clearly short staffed, and she wasn’t communicating well at all. My hair appointment was at 11 am and I ended up staying until 1:30pm with only my hair being blowdried. There was 2 other people there before I even started my hair and one of the stylists kept bouncing back and forth between them. This is by far the worst service I’ve ever gotten here and I’m not coming back.

Tried to get in contact with Rihanna for 3 days, sending her photos of what I wanted, the size of the braids, and asking for an estimate of how much everything would be. For 3 days it took her each day to answer each question separately; It also took me to go to the salon myself to show her and her sisters the style I wanted, for them to confirm what I wanted. My appointment was at 11AM, and I didn’t leave until 11:17PM. I’m a stickler on getting the job done, which they did, but the way they speak to each other and clients is what didn’t sit right with me. One lady that was doing my hair asked another worker to mix the braiding hair & she told her no & left the shop… which took longer for me to get my hair finished. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. So rude and unfriendly. Also, the salon is very uncleanly, and they reuse UNSANITIZED combs and brushes on every client’s hair.. That’s gross! They don’t wash their hands before and after each service. They even talk about customers behind their back, once they leave. Two stylists were making fun of my hair, speaking in their own language. IS THAT REALLY HOW YOU TREAT A CLIENT? They also take FOREVER to complete a hairstyle. My appointment was at 10am, I left the place at 11pm, just for a hairstyle I didn’t even like. They took breaks in between to talk, laugh, and eat, while I was sitting in the chair doing nothing but waiting to get my hair finished so I can go home. I always love how my braids and Senegalese twists come out and always get compliments on my hair. She is very accommodating to my schedule even when I’m running late for the appointment. Her prices are very reasonable and fair. She is fast! I got a big head and she did my twists perfectly in under 5 hours! Other shops I’ve been too it takes 8 hours. My braids easily last 8 weeks and still look neat, they never unravel or fall out. She gentle especially on my edges. I don’t let anyone else braid my hair.
