I am beyond disappointed with my recent experience at albana salon. I went in for a blow dry before an important wedding, expecting to leave with a polished and beautiful style, wanted to treat myself so I can relax. Instead what I got was a disaster. The final result was so poorly done that I couldn’t believe it. My hair looked messy, unstyled, and far from what a professional blow dry should look like. It was so bad that I had to go home and redo my hair from scratch to make it presentable for the event. I told the stylist “this isn’t even a blowdry and she gave me attitude stating it’s what I asked” Having to spend additional time and effort fixing what I paid a professional to do was infuriating, especially on such a big day when time is precious. Firstly I had been in communication with this salon via instagram dms where we confirmed I’d be coming around 9am. I was made to wait 20 mins before someone came and asked exactly what I wanted. I proceeded to show the stylist who then informed me I’d need to bleach my hair which is not true as other stylist have said different. I was trying to go for a dark burgundy color. The salon did not realise I am Albanian and proceeded to talk crap about me in Albanian saying how I should go do it elsewhere if that’s what other stylists said. Would not recommend, horrible people and don’t go if you’re not Albanian because they will talk crap about you and you won’t even know. I’ve been seeing Albana for almost 10 years. She never disappoints. I show her what I want and she always goes above and beyond to create that hairstyle to fit your face. She will always give you amazing suggestions based on what you are wearing and it will always turn out beautiful. I have never changed my hair-styler for all those years and never will.

I can’t say enough good things about this salon. Albana knows exactly what she’s doing. She’ll tell you what can realistically be done and recommends what looks best for you. (Which comes with experience and being a professional). She consistently delivers exactly what she promises and never disappoints. She has hands of gold and I can see this for her entire team as well. 10/10 recommend.
