Alder Street Studio

It took me a long time to find Marla in Missoula, but when I found her it was worth the quest! It is so hard to find a stylist who listens and takes the time to get to know you and your hair. Marla is willing to take risks, yet lets you know if something isn't right for you! She is patient enough to cut everyone from my daughter's first haircut, to my grandmother's hair. I love Alder Street Studio and feel so comfortable there unlike many of the hair salons you find in Missoula. It is so comforting to have your stylists undivided attention, which is exactly what you will find at Adler Street Studio! Her use of Oway products which are organic, vegan and cruelty free is just icing on the cake!

I wish I could give 10 stars, because Marla is the best hair stylist for miles around! I actually travel from Manhattan, NY to see Marla because her work is incredible and I truly enjoy her as a person. It took me MONTHS to find a truly organic salon and since Marla is the only Oway certified stylist in Montana, it's a no-brainer to do business with someone making a difference. Marla is the only stylist I've ever met who will genuinely cut about a centimeter of hair or less when you tell her you want a trim. She listens to her customers, she's magical at whipping up the perfect color of your preference, and she gives the most delightful head massages when she washes your hair. I was almost reluctant to leave this review because as more people hear about Marla, they will never want to visit

This is a long overdue review, but I went to Marla in November, and my hair and color is still gorgeous!! She's an incredible stylist, and human. She made the experience very relaxing, and I felt in good hands because she genuinely cared about my hair and its outcome. I would definitely recommend going to her, she's got a wicked highlight on her hands. She so easily was able to invision what I wanted my color to be and created it effortlessly. Not to mention she has awesome organic products, and a reusable shampoo and conditioner program, for people who want to create less waste!

Marla and her charming space were the perfect way to start my day! I experienced the infrared keratin treatment and it worked wonders on my hair ♡ Marla was kind, attentive, and had oodles of organic haircare knowledge that I was craving. I fell in love with the sample shampoo and conditioner she gave me and I will be back for hair products and future cuts/treatments!

Marla is absolutely amazing! Thank goodness my friend recommended her years ago! She always knows exactly what my hair needs and you leave feeling beautiful! Not only is she an insanely talented hair stylist, but also a wonderful person. Not to mention, she uses all organic products with no harsh chemicals. I came to her salon a stranger, but left a friend. I can not sing her praises enough!💕
