I came here to celebrate a friend’s birthday, and while our server was wonderful — friendly and attentive — the overall experience was disappointing. The food was inconsistent. The calamari came out cold, while the plantains and chicken were extremely hot, to the point of being inedible. We also asked several times for the music to be changed to more updated salsa or hip-hop, but our requests were ignored. The restaurant has public tablets for guests to adjust the music, so I tried to use one. After one song played, the music stopped. When I went to check, a Hispanic man took the tablet and mumbled something under his breath. I asked what the issue was, explaining that we’d been there for over two hours and had already made several polite requests. He gave no explanation and was rude in
I used to regularly go to this location years ago when I had lived in the neighborhood I am currently recovering from accident and went there as it was near the Hospital. I also had a $75 Groupon that I wanted to use before it had expired, I had tried to call them Monday, but there was no answer. I went down there and they were closed. I was back in the area for a doctors appointment and had decided to try again as I don’t get out much and I cannot eat very much and I had explain that to them and my injury after they insisted that I had to spend a whole $75 Groupon by myself one sitting no lunch menu no happy hour fine, but then I was told I could not take the food home then they said I could take the food home only if I paid five dollars to take it home which was not in the Groupon, the w
I just went to this place very bad experience, very bad customer service , and bad attitude . The menu had no drink options . I order rice, beans and rabo The rice was really hard making it hard to eat and the rabo was horrible no meat and raw. The lady who served us had an attitude and had no clue about prices or food options. I asked her how much was it for a side order of salami had no clue and said 3 for $5 when i got the recipe she charged more for what she had said. The food was not eaten and all got thrown out that’s how bad it was overpriced and not even good.
The menu online IS NOT for this restaurant. The reviews posted online ARE NOT this restaurant. THEY DON'T HAVE RIB EYE STEAK which I traveled 3hrs on mother's day for. There used to be a restaurant here call Gran Maya. All these reviews and menu are for this restaurant. Now my actual review... There in person menu has steak with a picture of it on the menu. When I ordered it I was given churrascos instead which I could have gotten by my house for around $25 with much better taste.. I also ordered a Margarita on the rocks with salt but instead of salt I got a full head of hair on it. Besides messing up my order and serving me hair. My order was definitely not worth almost $100 dollars. And that %15 mandatory tip was very undeserving. Plus is so shady they are stealing another restaurant's
I had bought a Groupon voucher to use and I could not for the life of me find the menu. So I thought I'd post it here. Food was actually fantastic. Very well cooked cowboy steak (which wasn't value for money as it was $110 but the amount of meat on the huge rib wasn't alot compared to other choices on the menu). Look at the Entre section of the menu in my post The service was kinda meh and it was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. It was more of a youngsters venue I thought. Overall even though it's a 4 for the rating, most other elements of the dining experience were pretty average.
