She’s done my hair through proms, homecoming, family events, etc. I was even flying from Nashville once a month, for 6 years, just for her to install my extensions. I have been going to Alex for the past 10 years since I moved to houston. She is hands down the best stylist I have ever gone to- listens to what you want, doesn’t try to force any style or care, focuses on healthy hair, always on time, and my hair looks absolutely fabulous. I went to Alex at first for relaxers and have transitioned to my natural hair over the years. She is able to get my hair just as straight now when I go in for a blow out. I am shocked each time I go! Location: Alex Jean Beauty is located inside "My Salon Suite" in West University Area. The location itself is in a shared parking lot with other businesses; so it's easy to miss. However there's ample parking which I appreciate. There's also 2 entrances one near Sessions Music and the other is near Molina's Mexican Restaurant. There are lots of various businesses located inside and it's spacious, clean, modern, and doesn't feel overwhelming. Stylist: Alex Jean does some protective styles such as halo braids, two strand twist outs, corn rows but she'll let you know that's not her forte. I can speak on blow outs, scalp treatments, and halo braids because that's what I've gone for. She doesn't over book, always timely, listens well, and delivers. This salon is everything! There’s never usually a wait, it’s always clean and SHE HAS SNACKS! Lol Alex is truly talented and cares about your hair. I’ve been coming here for years and don’t plan on going anywhere anytime soon! My hair is healthy and growing beautifully!
