Alex Kantor Hair

I trusted Alex to take me from long hair to short and I’ve never looked back! Alex shapes my cuts to highlight my features, and spends time adding layers and texture so my hair never feels flat or dull, allowing me to always leave looking and feeling my best! I’ve literally thought about how I’ll never be able to move too far away, as I know that no one will take the same care, time, and dedication that Alex does when cutting my hair

Alex is amazing. I have followed her from her previous location and will not let anyone else touch my hair. I went from not really loving my hair to feeling so very comfortable and confident in how it looks. Alex will work with you to figure out what is right for you and she is extremely talented. I couldn't recommend her enough!

Alex is just the greatest. She pays attention to every detail and you really feel cared for in her chair :) Not only is my haircut always amazing, but she has really helped me with hair care and styling. I feel more confident every time I get a cut. I would recommend a cut by Alex to anyone and everyone.

Alex is a fantastic hairdresser! I can’t recommend her enough. I’ve been a client of hers for over two years now. She’s always given me a great haircut whether my hair was short or medium length. She’s encouraged me to try new styles and new products and they’ve always worked out well. She’s professional and nice to talk to, but is also accommodating of my needs as a neurodivergent person. I’ll probably stay a client of hers as long as she’s in NYC.

I never write reviews, but I always leave Alex’s chair so happy that this felt necessary. My haircut and beard trim are consistently great, and what’s special is how the cut evolves. It grows with me and still feels like me. Alex is incredibly knowledgeable and thoughtful in their approach.
