I’ve been going to Alima’s African Hair Braiding since 2016. This shop does beautiful neat and clean braids of all styles. Alima and staff are kind, educates and helps you prep your style should you need assistance. The shop is also located in a thriving and diverse community of Detroit’s fashion district and wellness. they really listen to you and do there best to do what you request, I understand wanting square parts but box braids have always been free part. They do square parting but it’s something you should request before starting your hair and they will do it.
Been going to Tasha over 15 years. She's absolutely neat and thorough and reasonable.. Clean atmosphere. And the area is safe and beautiful ❤️.
