I'm just going to add to the five star reviews. I went to Alison for the first time yesterday after letting my hair grow longer than I have since I was a kid. I had no idea what I wanted to do and Alison looked at pictures with me, told what would work, and then gave me a great cut (she also neatened up my beard). Along with being very warm and welcoming, she really is a consummate professional. I found my new barber.

Alison is GREAT! When I get my hair cut, I typically show a picture of what I'm looking for. Alison looked at the picture and made a suggestion to modify the cut slightly based on not only my hair growth but also on how frequently I get my hair cut. You can tell instantly she's a master of her craft. She also takes the time throughout the ensure you're satisfied and comfortable with what she's doing. After she was finished, she explained what she did and why, which I appreciate. She's friendly and exceptionally professional. You won't need to look for a new barber ever again!

I called Alison The Barber, my call was answered by Alison. She indicated she had a cancellation and could take me which worked out perfect because I have a very important business meeting in 4 days. When I arrived she asked me what I want to do and I said that I read her reviews which said she was amazing. I asked her to “work her magic”. Unfortunately I felt Alison was in a rush. My haircut/ style sucks! Normally the length of my hair (shoulder length) it would take other barbers/stylists 40-45 minutes, she only spent 20 minutes. I read 50-60 reviews and many said that she “designed” a cut to fit her clients, I didn’t get that service or experience. Alison is a true master. She not only gave me a great haircut but took the time to ask and figure out what would work best for my specific hair characteristics and styling preferences. I am used to going in and getting whatever the barber does, with a little guidance, but Alison gave me input and really helped me feel like I was making the best decision for me. Definitely will be going back!

I've been getting my hair cut by Alison for several months now. She is the coolest barber ever! She is super friendly and easy to talk to. I never styled my hair until I came to her. I didn't quite know what to ask for but she gave suggestions and made me feel comfortable. Her cuts come complete with a scalp massage and straight razor shave on the back of your neck. Easily the best haircuts I have ever had.
