I booked an appointment but did not receive confirmation until less than 48 hours prior. When I canceled, I was charged a 50% cancellation fee due to the 48-hour policy despite not having a full 48-hour window after confirmation. I paid the money to resolve it, but the policy was applied rigidly rather than reasonably. I would recommend confirming appointments well in advance and clarifying how cancellation timing is calculated before booking. Policies are understandable. Applying them without context is not.

I've been going to All Mix'd Up for a couple years now and I highly recommend them. They're the perfect combination of quality, professionalism and affordability. Deja does incredible work with my braids – people compliment them all the time. I also really appreciate the care, attention to detail and client-centeredness they have there. Many folks elsewhere do hair and send you on your way, but I feel like Deja really cares to make sure she helps me understand how to best care for my hair type and style. The other workers are always friendly. The salon is neat and well kept. I rarely have problems with punctuality and can usually very easily book an appointment when I need to (plenty of availability). Check them out if you're looking!

Just moved here from VA a couple of months ago so I’ve been on the hunt for a stylist. Came across this salon and Jaycie did my silk press. 100% recommend, she’s personable and did great with my hair. Going on almost day 3 and my hair still has curl. Will definitely make this my go-to salon!

I had an amazing experience and was treated with such care. I had started a new medication that made me really sick during my appointment. Randi immediately became my support system, Kiki noticed I was sweating and turned the fan on me, and the motherly Juju got me snacks and water from the vending machine!! These ladies went above and beyond to be there for me without me asking. I love the sisterhood here and I will continue to come as long as I live here!!

I’ve never colored my hair before, and was very nervous about it, but Keke was so reassuring and empathetic. She listened to what I wanted and understood how important this transition was for me and my hair. I felt safe in Keke’s chair, trusted her judgment, and immediately fell in love with the results. It’s rare to find the level of service and professionalism she provides, and I’m glad to have experienced it.
