I deeply caution anyone before going here for a retie. My establishment with Shawn was fine but successive reties have resulted in numerous holes in the bases of my locs, indicating improper technique, something I am having to pay someone else hundreds of dollars to fix. There were other issue but this is the one I think other people should be most aware of. I have attached some pictures for reference, apologies if they are blurry.

My experience here was so amazing. Everyone at ATU are so sweet and welcoming. Shawn is awesome hands down. Since the beginning of my journey she has gone above and beyond in providing the best customer service and care for my hair! I love how she educates her all her clients about Sisterlocks and how to maintain them as well. I finally found a loctician that I can trust! This was truly the best decision I ever made. Special thanks to you Shawn, Roselee, and my awesome trainee Felicia! If you are looking to start your Sisterlock journey, I recommend All Tangled Up! Definitely a 10/10.

My sisterlocks were established by Shawn, salon owner, on May 18, 2021. I get a retightening every 5 weeks. Each time I come to the salon it is clean. The environment is fun and welcoming. Shawn is a sweetheart. She is professional and very knowledgeable about sisterlocks hair care. She is thoughtful and lets me know if she is running ahead or behind schedule. I'm so grateful for my new hair journey and that All Tangled Up is a part of it. The salon has a new nail technician, Xaria, who gave me an amazing mani/pedi!
