Allure Braids

Great experience 10/10! They did an amazing job on my mini twists, which I’ll be using to start my micro locs. My stylist was patient, thorough and very skilled. I saw other people’s hair getting done in the shop and they all looked like masterpieces. Neat, no tension, and they offered me water, snacks, and wifi. I could not be happier. Big thanks.

Initially, I was very happy with the results of the braids i got. However, I developed a very bad rash (possibly bacterial/fungal infection) on my scalp only days after my appointment. It’s only worsened since. I’m not sure if they maybe used a dirty comb or if someone’s hands weren’t clean, but the rash has just spread. My scalp was perfectly fine before I got my hair done here. It’s really upsetting that this has happened, given I spent over $200 on my hair and I may have to take it down only a couple weeks later so my scalp can heal. The photos included aren’t even the worst of it. Very disappointing.

Today was my second time visiting Allure hair salon. I did not have a great experience today. I arrived on time, came inside I was greeted and asked what was getting done. I showed a picture and let them know the color I was interested in. I called the day before to book my appointment it was confirmed and I was told I was able to purchase the bulk there and get my island boho twist done. The braider who was assigned to do my hair did not show up so therefore I could not get the style I wanted, they were out of the color I asked for. One of the ladies offered to go to the beauty supply store with me to pick the proper bulk. We arrive to the hairstore and waited 30 min for it to open that was another inconvenience. I purchased the bulk and we returned to start my hair. Today was the only da

(My first time here) I had a good experience here but there were a few things- I did text ahead of time that I was bringing my own hair for medium knotless and had an appointment but no one knew about the appointment when I got there. The owner was not there while I was there. The shop is clean and calm which was a nice environment but there was not a nice salon chair for me to sit in, I was in more of a pouf/lounge chair which did not have a foot rest and I’m short so my feet didn’t touch the floor but I’m sure I would have been uncomfortable regardless bc I’m 9 months pregnant haha. I took plenty of breaks and my braider Mariam was nice and did a great job. I went in for medium but I noticed about a quarter of the way through they were small which she said she did because my hair was sof

These ladies are good!!! My daughter got her hair done and she loves it and I love it. Audrey made sure that we were cozy. Super easy going ladies and really fast! I will upload photos soon.
