ALLURE NAIL SPA COBB

I really was hoping that I found another place to get my nails done since my nail tech is so far, but I guess I’ll have to stick to my roots lol. I’ve been here a few times and the first few times were great until recent.. I got my nails done before in the past and they did great before. But they got me with a money grab. I came in a fill in and unfortunately on my end I didn’t ask for pricing (which I normally do for whatever reason I forgot this time). When I went to pay (fill in and one nail fix). Not only is the fill in 55$ but they charge each broken nail that needs to be fixed 5$ (1/2$ ok? But 5 crazy esp when at most places if it’s more than 3 or 4 nails they’ll tell you it’s considered a full set but any thing under they don’t usually charge but times have changed I guess). I was n

I love Jessie and I’m sad I won’t be able to continue giving her business. She’s a great nail tech but her manager is something else. Came in last Friday to see Lee because Jessie wasn’t available. Lee does my nails, and does a beautiful job. However, my nails started cracking that Saturday (after one day) so I went back for a fix on Saturday. Lee files the nail down but doesn’t add more SNS Powder. That worried me but I figured, “he’s the professional.” This morning (Monday), I notice multiple cracks on my other nails and on the nail Lee “fixed”. I go back to the nail salon tonight, and politely ask the manager for compensation (giftcard or partial refund) because I have no childcare to get my nails repaired AGAIN and my husband is out of town on business. My personal experiences at Allure have been nothing but wonderful all due to Nicole, first time I got a pedicure from her I knew I would be back! She is so attentive and my manis/pedis look immaculate. I am so thankful for her amazing service each time!

I really wanted to like this spot so bad because it was a convenient location to me and previously I had got a cute manicure there. My rating is specific to my most recent experience TWO days ago. I decided to try gel X at this location because I read a sign that said $60 plus. My nails were $90 which was way more than I expected. Only a few hours after I got my nails done, one of my nails came completely off. I went to the nail shop yesterday to get it fixed and on my way out I realize that another nail was already lifting. The Tech glued it in place. Only a few hours later, another nail came completely off and today I went in to get it fixed only to be told that they could not fix my nail because they stop seeing customers at 6:15 PM even though their business hours are till 7 PM. I was hoping to like this poace because its in a convenient spot but this was the first time i didnt want to tip (i always tip). I asked for 2 separate designs (one looked like icing with sprinkles, 2d nail art, the other was pastel nail polish with pastel iridescent glitter). The icing i was told wouldnt be possible with my nail lenght, which i didnt agree with, but said ok and asked to do the next design. The nail artist only had fall color glitter, and i had to tell them no and then just ask if we could do something simple like iridescent chrome. The iridescent chrome was also see through with black base visible. I asked for a second coat and they said it couldnt be done and the black was normal to see under. I pushed back on this. Even with the second coat the iridescent color still i
