Absolutely loved my experience at Alpine Barber Shop! The barber was super friendly and welcoming. He gave me a fantastic haircut and took the time to carefully trim and shape my beard—came out looking sharp. The atmosphere was relaxed, and you can tell he really cares about his craft. Highly recommend this place if you want quality service and good vibes. Definitely coming back!

Has nintendo to play while waiting, also a private patio to relax in too. Very homey. Great conversation skills. Gentle and respectful.

The raddest barber in Portland! Met Shawn when I moved back to Portland years ago and was going through the requisite, barber-roulette phase that comes with moving to a new city. After a long string of experiences that ranged from fine to comically bad, Sean was different from the go. There are lots of barbers giving great cuts in town I’m sure, but far fewer that are as genuine and welcoming and probably even fewer with Mario Kart 64 at the shop to hang out and play while you wait. Can’t recommend him enough! I look forward to my cuts now more because i get to hang out with Sean and catch up than because im getting a haircut and it always seems like everyone else there feels the same and appreciates how rare that is to find. 🙌😎
