ALTÆR Mobile Sauna

This was an amazing experience with all the health benefits of a hot sauna and cold plunge at South Shore Beach in Little Compton. The sauna was clean and our assistant was very helpful and attended to our needs by keeping our fire stoked. Five people comfortably fit in the sauna, and the one-hour session was ample time for us. I would highly recommend Altaer!

This was so amazing!! Highly recommend to anyone in the RI area (honestly even worth traveling out of state for). We cold plunged in the ocean 5x during the hour and it was truly invigorating. The view (even with clouds) is spectacular and the woman running the sauna/keeping the fire going was so wonderful. She had an amazing vibe and the best smelling essential oils. We’ll 100% be back and we’re telling all of our friends to give it a try too!

I have visited the sauna several times and it is always a wonderful experience. I come away feeling somehow more relaxed and also super invigorated. Social saunas bring together cool groups of people and Kayla is always so warm and friendly. This is a unique and special place.

The perfect flow—warm sauna heat, then a refreshing dip in the ocean, and back again. It’s like hitting reset for your mind and body, a simple rhythm that brings deep Zen and total calm. Honestly, one of the most peaceful and unique experiences I’ve ever had. Not to be missed!

What an incredible experience! The sauna was nice and hot, with a gorgeous view of the Rhode Island shore. We loved popping out a few times to plunge in the sea. We did a Social, which means we got to enjoy our experience with other sauna lovers, which really added to our session. We felt well taken care of the whole time. Can't wait to go back!
