AMAZING AFRICAN HAIR BRAIDING

I called a week in advance to get my hair done.. being a mom I was a couple of minutes behind and she called to make sure I was still coming and didn’t get upset that I was a running a little behind. I got there and she complimented my hair soooo much. She did a GREAT job on my box braids.. and today I took my boys to get their hair braided and we’re all impressed with how quick she got through 2 heads, the price and the neatness! I will always recommend her.

I would give 0 if I could!! Word of advice for anyone who gets their hair braided : DO NOT use “ Authentic African hair braiding “ also under Kafui hair braiding. in lufkin located at 1001 Lee avenue. The owner did braids on my hair which I let her know were for my birthday a present from my husband. She told me she could do it ( my hair is growing out but still feasible to braid) . No more than 3 days after having it done I start losing several braids in the back. I called her and let her know she said that I can call and tell her when I can come have her fix them. ( I live almost an hour from her shop). I called this past Thursday and scheduled for this morning at 8:30 am. I get there and she’s not there I then call her at 8:36 am and she tells me she’s in Houston and she’s tired to come

Been a customer of hers for some years and she always does a great job on not only my hair but on my mom's and daughter's as well. I would recommend making an appointment so that you ensure that you are able to get your hair done. Some braids/twists take longer than others to do and you wouldn't want to walk in spur of the moment and she's already doing someone's hair because the likelihood is that you wouldn't be able to get assistance that day

I didn’t have a great experience here.The lady in there was smacking in my ear, I had drops of spit on my phone. She got on the phone every 5 minutes so it took longer than it was supposed too. When she was braiding my hair, I told her it was too tight, she didn’t do anything about it, she continued braiding. She also was pulling my hair while she was braiding. I pray to God I have my edges when I take these braids out. When she finished doing my braids, she put jewelry in my hair and didn’t even ask. I don’t recommend anyone coming here.

Worst place ever ! She’s money hungry. She cut my after I told her I don’t like the hair style . please don’t ever go here please.
