I highly recommend Hilary Light at Ambiente Salon if you are looking for an amazing hair experience! She is professional, knowledgable and very talented. She has given me the best hair cuts I have ever had and is great with highlights too! I have long, thick hair and she makes sure every detail is perfect and that I am fully satisfied with the results. She is located at this new cute minimalist salon with a chill vibe in a quiet part of the Mission. You will not be disappointed!

I've lived in SF my entire life and have been loyal to a few amazing hairstylists. I was on the hunt for someone new and a friend recommended Amber. Amber gave me my favorite cut to date! She was a total hair wizard with my postpartum and extremely thick hair. She took her time and was a true perfectionist. Thank you so much Amber! It also helps that her space is absolutely stunning and there's a cute coffee shop right next door <3.

Ambiente is a hair oasis in a desert of options. Everything has been thoughtful and intentionally selected to create a blissful experience. This is not a place where you are rushed in and out. Instead, you get a the focused, individualized attention that every cut, color, or style should. As a long time Mission resident I’m so glad we have this amazing salon in the neighborhood.

Ambiente is really amazing, from the beautiful space to the level of service. There’s such a level of care and attention paid to every detail. I’ve been seeing Amber for years, I haven’t found a stylist better at doing men’s hair. She’s incredibly talented, curates a great experience and offers such a high level of service. And now that she’s opened her own salon, I’m an even bigger fan. I’d highly recommend Amber and Ambiente to anyone in SF, the Bay Area, and beyond!

The salon is chic and minimalist, with every detail thoughtfully chosen by Amber herself. The location is perfect too – right in a cute neighborhood with a coffee shop next door and the delicious El Mil Amores just steps away. Amber's talent speaks for itself (I always leave with the perfect cut!), but her dedication to using natural products sourced from women-owned businesses makes her even more amazing.
