Amen African Hair Braiding

I’ve been to Mimi twice now and I absolutely love my braids every time. I’ve gotten extra small knotless boho and large knotless braids, and both styles were done beautifully. The braids are flat, super neat, and very consistent in size, which is hard to find. They also lasted a long time without frizzing. The shop is clean, the atmosphere is professional, and they are very respectful of time — no long waiting around. If you’re looking for quality knotless braids done right, Mimi is definitely worth it. I’ll continue coming back!

This Braiding Salon is awesome!!! The women that work their were really nice. They do not overcharge like some other places, their prices are affordable. It took the two ladies that did my hair 5hrs(perfect timing). My hair is evenly braided throughout, all of my braids are true micro braids. My hair was not pulled tight and it feels very light on my head. I am in love with these braids. Another woman was getting micro twist, her twist were just as small as my micro braids and they were so even and neat. Her pony tail was swaying when she walked out. It wasn’t bulky, it was perfect. I would advise anyone to try this braiding salon. I have been wearing braids off and on for years so I know good braiders, and the women here are some of the best braiders. I paid 30$ extra because my hair is was short which was no problem so my total was 280 for long waist length small individual braids. the front of my hair was done different sizes than the back as if they was rushing and tried to hide the difference in the back and middle of my head. When I told them my hair was sticking out of the braids they wanted to argue with me instead of correcting their mistake. They try to get over on people please do not come here !! It’s not worth it

This the worse braid shop ever they are unprofessional the older lady which is the owner braids extremely to hard uses way too much braid gel she is unprofessional arguing with her sister over my head about a walk in client they neither wanted to do they are arguing about the client in front of her glad the client had sense to leave I do not like my hair it looks nothing like the picture I showed her hair is full of product stay away go to kokovi which is where I wish I had gone

This shop I came upon a few years ago, although I’m very familiar with them because my daughters have been going for year’s. My own experience when I starting taking my 10yr old at the time now 11yrs old. The Ladies there are just absolutely amazing! Ester the one in particular that has been braiding my daughter hair for the past 2yrs. one of the best! although each and everyone of them is soooo welcoming! so talented! so professional! I wouldn’t go anywhere else… I would recommend this shop to any and all that want exceptional! service! to feel belonged and leave feeling inspired! this is the place to come‼️
