Ample Massage Spa

This was a descent experience for my first time. Me and my friend were asked to get the couple massage (60 mins with hot oil and hot stones) and we paid $39 each. after reading the reviews most people complained about the bad customer service, however I didn’t feel that way. They were really nice but yeah they’re not as talkative as other places (languages/culture differences). I am not used to being massaged for so long so it was a new experience for me. There was a point where I had to ask the lady to do it softer, but I mean that was logical to me. You’re supposed to communicate with your therapist to accommodate to your needs. My favorite part it was the hot stones. Pretty nice feeling. Something I really liked is they didn’t force us to tip at the beginning but they gave us the option

Okay so I just wanted to take the time to wright this review so that way when going here you have a better understanding of what to expect. So i wanted to take my mother and girlfriend out for a spa day so I made reservations for 3 people at this location. Upon showing up the man at the front desk looked at me confused when I had told him that I had an appointment, witch kinda struck me by surprise. Because when on the phone with the individual he sounded like he was happy to have customers given the pandemic and business trying to get back on there feet. But sadly that was not the case when i showed up, so after sorting out the confusion we were taken to the back where all 3 of us were seated. Took my friend here for a wedding present (I thought this might help with the stress of all that planning) and while it had its moments I can't say it was ideal. The ladies doing the actual massaging were very nice, and the hot stones were by far the high point. That's about it. It's very rare for me to complain about a lack of English, but it doesn't do any favors here. The massage was a bit too rough (for both my friend and myself) and any phrasing other than a simple "softer" seemed to confuse them. Politely explaining that I've had shoulder problems (and a back issue for him) and asking "a little lighter, please" was no good. I purchased a Groupon deal for a couple’s massage for Valentine’s Day and they would not accept the coupon. I was told 5 times they would not accept it and asked me to pay cash for it. Then, the address shown on Groupon was different than the address provided when I called. I made an appointment at 4:30 and when I showed up I was told I had to wait until 4:45 then it turned into 5pm. I had asked for 2 girls and ended up with a male and female. The massage itself was not one of the most pleasant one we’ve had. It was very painful even though we had told them to tone it down. More than a massage it was more of a limb and finger digging experience. I would definitely not go back to this place nor would I recommend it.

The place is ok. They asked you to pay in advance. I'm not going to lie, the massage was amazing; however the guy requested me to gave him 20% tip. I gave him 5 dls and he still requested the 20%tip. What an awkward situation. Ruined the massage experience. I'll never ever go back again.
