Amy’s Nails II

This is by no means a negative review, nor was it a bad experience at all. My experience was actually great! The nails themselves are beautiful, and Amy was absolutely wonderful—so kind, sweet, and pleasant throughout the entire visit. That said, I did realize that what I received wasn’t quite what I was looking for. I specifically wanted chrome nails with that true mirror-like, reflective finish, and these appear more like a polished or shimmer look rather than the chrome process I had in mind. I do understand that different shops and technicians may use different techniques, so I completely get that. Ultimately, this just means I need to find a place that offers the specific chrome process I’m looking for. Overall, it was a positive experience, and Amy herself was lovely.

I have been here a couple of times spending a lot of money on my sets, I gave them a very specific picture and the artist was doing whatever on my nails not what I wanted and got upset when I mentioned it wasn’t what I wanted on MY nails that I am paying for. Every time I would tip and pay there would be extra money missing from my account. I went there for a simple set and once the owner realized I wasn’t spending a bunch of money on my set due to work she placed me in the back with a guy who did my nails carelessly not even buffing or cutting my nails immediately put on a thin coat of acrylic they were not what I asked for and popped off like press-ons 3 days after the fact. The staff is very rude and most definitely discriminatory towards people they think have no money it is sad, they

Amy’s Nail II is an amazing place to go to. all of the staff members are super friendly, the prices are wonderful, and the service is spectacular. they were able to do walk in appointments for my mom and nana and i.

I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately my experience here was not great. I went in simply to get my acrylics soaked off. My nail tech rushed and it was quite painful for her to pry them off instead of soaking them off at all. I hate to say it, but she was rude as well. When I was waiting to pay, she sat in her chair on her phone for awhile before coming to help me. I asked her how much and then I paid her, she took my money without looking at me, still on her phone. She set the money down and walked away without acknowledging me at all. I told her thank you and have a good day to which she still did not acknowledge me. Not to mention my nails are extremely brittle and cut messily. Maybe it was just an off day, everyone has them, but I will not be returning.

This place is way underrated!!! Do not listen to the negative reviews at all. As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by Amy herself! She was very accommodating as it was my daughter, son, and myself, and we had no appointment. We really didn't wait long at all. Amy spoke to everyone in there, clients and employees, and was never rude at all. The women (I am so bad in the fact I did not get everyones names) are amazing. I hadn't had my nails done in a long time and definitely going back!! In fact, we made our next appointment already. Also, the artwork they can do is very good!!
