I love coming here to get my Knotless braids! They do an excellent job and I love it curly! Ida is the best! Please ladies get your hair did here! Update 1/19/24 IDA is wonderful as always! My hair came out great as always! Ladies: if you get any curly or wavy styles ask for Pink oil only DO NOT USE MOUSSE- Use pink oil only! You will thank me later! Reasonable prices and fast braiding! Also, they have added two more excellent braiders from Senegal: Miriam & Fatima; Please ask for these ladies! They are an excellent addition to the shop along with Ida! They will braid your hair how you like it-just tell them what you want and they will give you the best service. As you can see, the hair came out just as full as the last year photo on left. This place is very unprofessional. I came in a couple of days prior to make an appointment and get a price on the service I wanted. When I arrived for my appointment I was given a different price and was treated as if I was disturbing the woman that was doing my hair. She was very rude and was not listening to the instructions I had given her about how I wanted my hair. At one point she told me I shouldn’t get the type of style that I was getting even though I had been wearing it for years prior to coming to her. People are paying their hard earned money for their hair done the way they want not how you want to do it. My braids were poorly done and I will never return to this establishment again. They don’t even deserve the 1 star. Also I watched several other women come in and their hair

I love the way my braids look!!! Ida and Amy are the best!.. I have been going to them for well over fifteen years! Highly recommend. By the way, this is reference to my girlfriend Update 8/6/22 Saturday: They did another excellent job on my girlfriend’s hair! She looks amazing! Wow!

I wanted mini twists and was clear on how I wanted it to be done. I provided pictures and did my best to micro manage what was being done. The hair braider followed my instructions in the beginning when I was more attentive but then started being lazy and doing what was most convenient for them. I had only noticed long after. If I am paying for a service and it is clear the braider understands what to do why can’t the customer trust that the braider will continue to provide the service requested? They also charged me way too much for this style and I am not even satisfied. Summary: They do not listen to you and charge too much.
