Angie's Barbershop

I'm fairly new in the Edmond area, but was thrilled to find Angie's Barbershop. She always does a great job cutting hair and I love how easy it is to book an appointment online.

Angie was so professional and personal at the same time. After sending a selfie of my hair and a picture of what I wanted, she replied right away to let me know that it would be an extra cost for long hair and a spiral perm. I asked her how much more. And for the price I paid for my Groupon and the extra cost, this came up to be more than half less than other perms I have looked into or have had. She had to use 2 sets of perm solution- more product=extra cost. I have found my new hair dresser! Sorry for the other review who obviously didn’t understand the fine lines of a Groupon and that there can be extra cost depending on your hair type/length. Go to Angie. She is amazing and knows what she is doing. It’s hard for me to to trust anyone with my hair, but I trust Angie. Thank you!

NEEDS TO LEARN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN EXESSIVE DANDRUFF AND "HEAD LICE" AND "LICE EGGS"!!!!!Went for a hair cut super excited. Had my shampoo And conditioning done and hair cutting began about ten minutes into cutting she starts picking at my hair asked if I had kids and says she see "lice eggs" and has to stop and I can come back for her to finish after treatment. I was as in total shock as no one in my household has lice or lice symptoms nor been around anyone with lice. So I left went and checked my kids out and went to Dr to confirm. Turns out the "lice eggs" she saw, mind u not one live lice was found, is excessive dandruff. Kids were checked and not one "egg" or "lice" was found. I am humiliated embarrassed and very upset plus my kids school attendance was affected which really upset

I took my 3 very picky teen boys here over a year ago because we were in a pinch & it was close to our house (far NE Edmond). Angie is super sweet, professional, listened & took her time with each of them. ALL 3 boys left very happy with their cuts. Since then we will not go anywhere else. In fact when my boys stay with their dad in South Edmond they insist on driving up to have Angie cut their hair.

I brought my mom in and we had an amazing experience! Angie is great at what she does, you can tell this is her passion. She was friendly and did a great job cutting, thinning, layering, and styling my mom’s hair. Great prices, easy to book, and a nice environment. We will definitely be coming back!!!
