Anna's Nail Salon

I love going to Anna’s Nails! I usually go for pedicures, but I was really craving cute nails and decided to spring for a full set. I added the reference photo so you can see just how exact it is! They played crazy attention to detail. I’ll be going back to get another set soon!

I was traveling and had time to kill to thought I would get a manicure and pedicure. I don't know the name of the lady that was my technician, but she did a phenomenal job! She even did a hot stone massage on my legs as part of the pedicure. When it came time for the manicure she helped me with some ideas on how to improve the strength of my nails. (I had a bad experience with gel nails recently) After she was done with my nails she even gave me a shoulder massage! The best part was when I went to pay the bill. It was less than $50! Back home that would have cost $75 for a basic service and they would have charged extra for the message. My nail tech was so sweet and did amazing work! If I lived in the area I would definitely be a regular!

I don’t usually leave reviews but i want to post this as a warning. i got a pedicure here back in 2022, and not long after i got an insanely painful infection in my big toenail. i went to the doctor and they tested it for fungus and it came back negative, which means this salon either injured my nail bed in the process or used tools/products that aren’t sterile enough. my nail still TOO THIS DAY is discolored (yellow/purple), thick, brittle, and still sometimes painful. i’m not posting this to shame the salon but rather to warn anyone who might be considering a pedicure here. three years (and counting) of an infected nail has not been fun.

I got a gel manicure and the technician didn’t apply the polish over my entire nail, left bald spots on the edges and didn’t apply the polish evenly. This left dark spots on my nails and a bumpy texture across the nails. Not much went into the manicure itself, I left with untamed cuticles. My manicure is chipping on day 1. It was only $30, I think that’s on the low side for gel polish in Champaign. The service was friendly, but the results weren’t great.

Amazing work! Megan did my gel nails and did an amazing job with the line work, color selection, and art. I showed her a picture and she did amazing! They are so thin and look almost exactly like the photo. I will be coming back! I went to another salon for gel nails. They were so thick and the color was off (I was too shy to say anything! Never again). Megan took the old ones off and did amazing with the prep. She was gentle but went in so detailed on my cuticles. Also the tools are sterile and I saw her take them out of the bag. And the price is amazing!! It cannot be beat for the quality of work she put into my nails!
