Apple Blossom Spa, Highland NY

I have been coming here monthly for over a year. My wife and her best friend as well. I have found that the staff here is very professional and does a great job. Personally, I get the 90 minute massage. No matter who the therapist is, they are consistent with the way they do the massage. The pressure is quite strong, but I like medium pressure, which I tell the therapist first. I honestly question some of the reviews. One example is being bugged for tips. That’s never happened to me. They offer a professional massage at a reasonable price. I’ve had massages nearby for twice the price that are comparable to here. Occasionally you hear a phone or brief conversation, but, overall it’s a great place to get a massage. And, my wife and friend love their foot massage. Give them a try!

Edit: originally and 1 star. They reached out and refunded my massage. I increased this review to 3 stars since I appreciate that they took responsibility. This was the worst massage I have ever had. I went for a 60 minute massage and made an appointment hours in advance. I get a text 1 hour before asking me to come 15 minutes later. I respond that I can do that. Then, on my way over I get another text asking me if I would be there by my original time. Luckily I get everywhere early so I arrived 2 minutes after my initial appointment (which was previously moved 15 minutes later). The masseuse left the room 3 times in the first 5 minutes to help other people. She then proceeded to answer her phone, make new appointments, text, listen to her ear buds loudly, all while attempting to massage

What a pleasant surprise this massage spa is! My football playing son was home for the weekend and in need of some help for his sore muscles and to find this place for same day service was amazing! Plus he loved his first facial he added on as well. They had a massage therapist for me as well so I got to enjoy the experience too and my massage therapist was strong and skilled and we will definitely be back with others. Can't wait to give a couples massage for my daughter and boyfriend as a gift!

Great price for a couples massage and easy to get an appointment but the massage itself was very disappointing. The room was extremely cold and they used Vaseline instead of massage oils. There was a lot of pressure put on the spine during the massage and draping didn’t always feel appropriate. Legs did receive a nice massage though

Best spa around. Very clean, respectful and professional. I have been suffering from back pain for years, and for the first time in years I can get up in the morning without major aches and pains thanks to their acute attention and knowledge of the muscular system. Thank you!
