Looking for a natural hairstylist who works with curly 4C hair, children with special needs, and seniors? I had the pleasure of taking my son to Armani L Hair Artistry. Moni handled his matted hair with patience and enthusiasm. He is neurodivergent, and I did not expect him to be as comfortable leaning back for a wash or allowing someone else to detangle his hair. Her tenderness was above his tender-headedness. Watching her skill and heart was a joy. I will definitely return, as she is about the only other person I would trust to touch his hair right now. 5-stars to Moni and Armani L Hair Artistry for natural hair care in the Richmond area, especially Lakeside and Henrico.

I had a moment and did a big home chop (left only a few inches!) a couple weeks ago and struggled to find a stylist I thought I could trust with fixing it. I rode past Moni’s salon and sent her a message. When I went to my appointment she was so sweet and it wasn’t like meeting someone for the first time, it was like an old friend. We laughed, she took her time getting to know me and what I like and was determined I was gonna leave happy! She even took time to explain what she was doing and what I should do at home to achieve the same results. Truly a wonderful experience from beginning to end and I’ve found my go to salon now! Highly recommend!!

Trusted to do my hair for 10 years now and my last experience was nothing less than perfect. My hair is natural and I received a deep conditioning followed by a silk press to attend a funeral. I also got a blunt cut as I’m planning on cutting shorter soon and my hair was sooo flowy afterwards and is still straight almost 3 weeks later. Thanks Moni!

The best experience! The whole appointment I had a good time and I learned a lot about my hair and different products.I never had someone tell me what products I should use and what works best for my hair type. I came in for a wash, blow dry, style and trim. I tried layers for the first time and let me say I’ve gotten so many compliments. I will definitely be coming back!
