Melinda is very experienced, took her time and provided me with a terrific cut and style while giving me specialized advice to correct color issues. The prices are competitive and the service is outstanding. Absolutely loved this charming little salon conveniently located near Tidewater and Bayview. You have to look for it. It's almost hidden toward the back rear of the building. I will definitely return.

Michelle is amazing. Most hardworking person I met in a very long time. My appointment went amazing she started at my given time. Greeted me I got to know her a bit and she seemed very amazing person. Also can we appreciated how she has transformed my own cut hair in quarantine into these amazing luscious looking hair my God they look and feel so good. I will definitely be going back to her for all my hair services. Definitely recommend her even Melinda is really nice. They are awesome people.

I feel bad posting this because my stylist, Michelle, was very kind, but my haircut turned out pretty awful. I had next to no layers and the ends were pretty brittle so the plan was to cut up to the healthy hair, lightly layer, and add a bit of face framing. The layers are incredibly chunky and the face framing looks like I had to cut gum out of my hair 😕

Not to make it impossible to get appointments, but I do have to share how much I love this salon. Melinda is amazing and I can always trust her to work with my inspiration photos and make some gorgeous colors. She knows how to get you to the color or level you'd like, and is also good about setting expectations. Recently we did a global bleach process as a transition to some purples and pinks, and I was shocked and pleasantly surprised with how light she was able to lift my hair too. I trust her with the process from start to finish, and I love that she gets as excited about the colors and styles as I do! Michelle is also incredible and knowledgeable so you can't go wrong with either of them!

Melinda did my hair. She took her time to make sure i get the best angle and shape for my face. This is like the place where my mom or grandma would go when i was little. No fancy stuff just plain skills and homey vibes. You don’t feel rushed or judged. Chill place and nice people. I walked out feeling fresh and young. Price is $45+tip for my haircut and shampoo blow-out. There are two little dogs that roams here and there. Will definitely be my go-to place moving forward.
