THE best experience near Baltimore! I just got my hair partially highlighted and lowlighted. I’m a picky hairstylist and new to the area. After 2 years of looking for the right stylist, I’m sticking with Amanda! I was a bright blonde that wanted to have a ‘less maintenance’ look. I showed her a pick of a look I liked (slightly darker). A “lived-in ombré” style. She asked all the right questions and listened to my complaints of my previous stylist 4 months ago. I left with wet hair because I didn’t want to invest in a full service without knowing she could nail the look. After coming home to style it myself, I can tell the detail in technique and formulation were just what I needed. I’m already booked with her for the holidays. Highly, HIGHLY recommend!

I COULD NOT LOVE THIS PLACE MORE! They make you feel gorgeous the second you walk in without even touching your hair yet! The staff is so friendly and personable and I walk out feeling like a model every single time. 1000000/10 recommend.

BUYER BEWARE!!! I recently had a disappointing experience at Ash & Oak Salon that I feel compelled to share. I booked a haircut and expressed interest in returning for only a few highlights added to the back of my head to blend the darker color in the back with the lighter color in the front, but due to a family emergency with my daughter, I had to cancel my follow up appointment the day before, which was scheduled for a Sunday at 9 AM. My cancel time was Saturday at 11AM. When I called to cancel, I was informed that I would be charged the full amount of $100, regardless of the circumstances. I was unaware of their cancellation policy, which they just now told me requires 48 hours notice for a 50% penalty charge and 100% penalty for anytime less than 48 hours notice.
