Atales African Hair Braiding

Amazing work! I absolutely love my hair. From before even getting to the shop the owner was so helpful in advising me on what type of hair to buy. I was being very particular and paying attention when she was braiding my hair because I feared it might not come out how I wanted it. But it came out beautifully! This definitely not a “what I asked for vs what I got moment”. I asked and Aunty delivered. As someone who would spend an hour driving into Harlem for braids every time, I must say Atales ( being 2 mins from my house) might have earned my loyalty.

Just a random Spanish dude who trains 10 minutes away and gets his hair braided for matches every once in a while. The ladies were pleasant, made me look great and didn't take long. I'll be back for sure

I have a love hate relationship with this salon. Much love because when I leave, the compliments are endless...and I thank you for that. Hate because they don't do appointments. I guess over time people made appointments and never kept their slot. So getting in the chair becomes a challenge. Each stylist has their own braid style. Just ask who does what...everyone here is great. Many thank yous.
