ATU African Hair Braiding (same-day Appointments ) Available

New to TX tried these people for microtwist first they told me it would take 2hrs 30min max I got there at 0730 left at about 1ish and the lady spraid so much spritz on my ends when it dried it was sticky. I told her I was n the military and couldn't have a thick bun she used so much hair the bun too big they tell me 180 on the phone when I get in the chair she start she tell me 200 to twist to the end 180 was only half way smh Most of twist unraveled the next day and when she got to the back she braided the box braids so long then started twisting they tell me to come back at a certain time to fix it and still want me to wait 2hrs.

I said I was done my last visit but I wanted my hair done in a timely manner. I paid 200 for braids and this is what the back look like. They didn't even try to blend my hair, I am so tired of these african hair braiding shops. I wish we would stop supporting these shops it's obvious 😒 TOUCHED BY TASHA

I recently visited this braid shop and had an amazing experience. I just moved to Texas from Alabama, so finding someone new I could trust with my hair was important to me—and they exceeded my expectations. The service was professional, welcoming, and the atmosphere was great. My braids came out neat, clean, and exactly what I asked for. Not to mention I have locs ! So if you’re looking for a braider who can braid over locs please give them a visit. They really take their time and care about their work. I’ll definitely be coming back and recommending them to anyone looking for quality braid services in Killeen Texas.

I chose this shop from the pics I saw on the reviews. The braids looked great and the parts were the same size. As you can see from my pics below, this wasn’t the case for me. The braids are nice, but the parts are definitely not equal in size. For $250, I expected better. I got my hair done on Sunday 10/13/2024 and today, Saturday 10/19/2024, at 8:49am, I called to get the back of my hair redone, because as you can see, the parts are different sizes and does not look full like I asked them to be, or the size of the part being the size that I stated. I was told that if I wanted them redone that I would have to pay for it. I asked if I would have to pay for your wrong doings? She replied that I should have came the next day. I explained that I work before the sun comes up and after the sun
