Aura Beauty Salón and Lounge

Do not go to this salon if you have natural hair. I believe they are mixing relaxer into their deep conditioner and or shampoo products. Plus their blow dryers are extremely too hot and technique to blow dry is very rough on the hair strands. After my 8/5/23 visit to this salon my hair is extremely damaged and in irreparable condition .Literally falling out in chunks and it feels like wire to the touch. This is by far the Worst salon I have ever been to in my life. Doris is the owner / stylist there and the one responsible for ruining my hair . Please do not go there for blow outs it will be the biggest mistake you ever make for your hair. Please see photos my hair has never been thus weak , see through or broken nor have I experienced fall out to this degree.

I visited this salon earlier this year several times, my hair washes came out great. The salon is pretty close to my house and the owner was always extremely nice. I stopped in one evening for a wash and blow and she had another woman whom I've never seen before wash my hair. I usually bring my own shampoo & conditioner because I prefer my own products (Aveda to be exact). The owner refused to use my products telling me I don't need to use it. (All the other times, i used my Aveda products, just not this time) I would also like to add, I do not use excessive heat to my hair EVER. A few days after my visit, I noticed how thin my hair looked (especially my ends). When I would comb my hair I had extreme shedding, every single day! I have been coming to this salon since it was kabello salon and was taken over by the now owner Doris. I went from perming to natural hair and started coloring my hair. I have been a loyal customer. I never have had a problem. Doris takes her time and understands her customer needs. She tells you like it is. My hair has never once broke beyond the normal or excessive hair lost! I am a person who comes and dye my hair 2-3 colors and refreshes my color every 3 to 6 months. During the time i dont color i come religiously for wash and set and deep conditioning. Roller set and under the dryer and will blown out my roots or my hair ever so often and get my ends cut. Aura beauty salon and lounge is a good salon that takes it time and cares for there customers. And Doris is always willing to help

'All About the Dollar and not about the Quality & Care of the Customer' In short, They Do Not Provide Quality Work!! Beware going to this salon (the other reviews were right not to go). I had to give this establishment a 1 star, since no stars isnt an option for the janky experience and lack of quality. I sent my daughter here to get a wash 'n' set and blowout. My daughter has natural, midback length hair. She explained to me that the 'stylist' was not willing to part her hair properly to put the rollers in.
