Aurora Nails

I go to Aurora nails every two weeks for a dip manicure, and they consistently do a great job. I’ve worked with multiple technicians, all of whom are incredibly thorough and seem to take pride in the finished outcome! My nails consistently last about 2 weeks before minor chips begin to appear. The salon itself is cute, clean, and in a great area (I love walking around at the shops in Wayland Square afterwards).

My sisters treated me to a gel manicure before having my baby and chose Aurora nails thinking it would be a special experience - it was far from that. The total gel manicure lasted about 20 minutes and they immediately shuffled us out and happily charged us $50. For the price the experience should not have felt like an express manicure but that is exactly what it was. Will not be going back.

I have been coming here for years and can’t say enough good things. The staff is always friendly and accommodating service is always top notch and most importantly they are so so clean a lot of other reviews mention price but I think price is spot on for them charging their worth! I get compliments on my nails .

I don't do this often, as in write reviews, but I'm livid. I called to make an appointment and asked how much a polish change would be (as opposed to a full manicure). The lady on the phone asked if toes or nails I said nails. She said $15, and then I asked what about for gel. She said $25. I had my nails done, again just a polish change, and got up to the counter to pay and they said it was going to be $45. $45 for a POLISH CHANGE is egregious and I feel like I was scammed. Will not be returning here.

70$ pedicure- start to finish in 45 minutes. Not relaxing because every step just feels rushed/checking boxes. Pretend to push back cuticles/trim cuticles without actually taking anything off. Nail polish was excessively watered down with polish thinner to the point it no longer was the same color as the bottle. Came at 1030am on a Thursday when the salon was not busy, thus there was no reason to rush as no one was waiting. When I voiced my concerns I was told that 45 minutes is the allotted time for the 70$ service. Won’t be returning
