Ava Nails Spa

Went to Ava nails to get a new overlays. ( I cut my nail every 4 month.) This lady said you getting long are short .I told her short . She said $25.00. I got there at 9:50 am . I did not leave until 10:50 am . This person still want finish . They started talking to other came in.(worker ) At 10:50am this person just filing my nail. Then they asked what color, it was right in front of that person.I picked it up twice.I had to go. Then One of the worker said if you dont have time to sit and wait. You should not come in. Want come back later get polish.(no not after your smart remark.)I was only one there next to the workers. (I did not ask for the works.)just my nails . I want rude just said it be ok. Now the other person charged me $30.00.I asked why when she said $25.00 he said you nail

I got an infection on my pinky nail from them cutting my skin with the nail drill. I came in to quietly talk about it with the lady who did my nails, and she was rude and loud. She squeezed my infected finger with a peroxide cotton swab after I told her I've already been using peroxide to no avail. My doctor diagnosed it as paronychia as a result of getting my nails done there. The lady gave me a fake name. And told me to send her a doctor's bill. HORRIBLE customer service, and she inflicted more pain instead of resolving the situation.

Sad to report that I have been a customer for several years with good results; however, my last two trips have been unsatisfactory. I have spent from 1:00'until now, 4:11 pm. The technicians have been on their phones, with conversations on speaker for all to hear. I asked my tech to please silence her phone since it was blaring in my ear. They were not assisting each other and twice now I have had to return for a repaint after getting Almost home and noticed the paint was not dry. The shop is empty except one other customer. It is not a welcoming relaxing place.

Horrible customer service, I have got gel nails alone , pedicure and she charged for a whole manicure and compared to other places they are pricey . she didnt file my nails well it’s so rough on edges she didn’t even care had to wait for 30 minutes, they used some scrub which irritated my skin. Not a hygienic place they use cloths which are almost torn .

Walked right in for a gel polish change, price is the best in Wake Forest (believe me I've looked). Did a good job and was thorough and quick. Just got them done today so cant speak for how long they will last but seems just as good as all the others I've gotten. People weren't overly friendly but I was there to get my nails done, not make friends.
