I came in for an emergency manicure. I had my class ring ceremony at 1 pm. They were so kind and got my nails done quickly and perfectly. Very clean.

I LOVE this place and cannot say enough good things about it!

Unfortunately this experience left a lot to be desired. The place gives old school nail salon vibes which was cool, but I don’t have many positive things to say beyond that. The pedicure was just not up to par. Technique left a lot to be desired. Polish improperly removed. And literally had to ask the woman to stop scrubbing my feet because I realized the toe nail brush was discolored, visibly dirty and worn. I cannot confirm that a single tool used was new because nothing came out of plastic. I paid $50 for a $30 pedicure because shellac is a $15 fee and polish removal is another fee. Why not just raise the price instead of doubling with up-charges? Found this place on accident but I’m gonna forget this experience on purpose.

I love this salon. I read some of the comments below and don't agree with the comments regarding poor polish color selection. They have always had plenty of choices (maybe some of the ladies who posted comments didn't notice the additional colors the salon has near the register). Everyone I have dealt with at the salon is really friendly and professional. Cleanliness is one of the most important factors I consider when deciding which salon I go to. This salon meets my standards and expectations, I always watch what they are doing and I have never seen anything faulty. I would recommend this salon to my friends and family.

Awesome Service!! I’ve been a customer for almost 10 years because the service is amazing. The owner is great at developing relationships with her customers and is on a first name basis with all of her customers. I think this is extremely rare because most nail salons treat you like a number. The nail technicians take their time and provide excellent service. Avalon has a wide selection of nail colors and its extremely clean. I can’t say enough great things about this business and I will be a loyal customer for life.
