Avant Garde salon

My son and I went to avant Garde Salon yesterday, Shauna cut both of our hair for the first time. I have a pixie cut and showed her some pictures of the cut I would like and what my haircut normally looks like. We discussed the texture of my hair and any trouble areas. She didn’t bat an eye and went to work. She took charge with care and concern for my request. She exceeded my expectations. The cut is great, super easy to fix and looks amazing. Thank you Shawna

Loved my experience here! The salon has a great atmosphere - warm and welcoming, and they offer drinks (tea/canned) to clients. The haircut service includes shampoo and conditioning. My stylist, Helen, did a fantastic job on my mid-length layers. She was knowledgeable, skilled, and made me feel very comfortable, while perfecly executing what I wanted. They also have discounts for new customers and UF affiliates. Will be returning. Highly recommend Helen!

Candice is a super-fabulous stylist! After a few years spent in the styling wilderness, I feel very lucky to have found her. She is responsive to requests and also makes wonderful styling suggestions--especially when it comes to combining different Aveda products. And, of course, she is great to talk with.

I am new to this salon and I am very pleased following my first visit. Jessica spent a lot of time with me to find out what I wanted regarding my hair color and cut, and analyzing what my hair needed based on the condition of my hair. She listened to and understood what I was asking for, made great suggestions, and let me decide which procedures and products I wanted to try. I was particularly impressed with the way in which the stylists consult with each other to share their expertise in order for the client to receive the best care possible.
