Avery's Cutting Edge

I've been going to Avery's Cutting-Edge for 25 years. The staff at Avery's are very professional and the shop is always kept extremely clean. Walk-ins are always welcome.

I made an appointment with Bobby and sadly I over slept and missed it. Stuff happens but I texted him and asked him if he had any other openings today and this is the response was. Very unprofessional. Not sure what happened for this response.

Bobby has been cutting my hair for a long time he does a great job. Recently, my MIL moved to Shreveport. She has her hair washed and styled weekly. Bobby was very helpful in coordinating her hair appointments with Laiken.

We walked in and they quickly accommodated my fellow. I ended up making an appointment for later. The cut was fast, clean, and well done. He did a great job matching the picture we showed him. They are barbers, so they can do beards too. The prices were very reasonable and they take credit cards. Four guys came in after us, so it's clearly a popular spot. They have 6 stylist booths, three hair wash stations, two dryers, and ample, comfortable seating. The atmosphere is clean and well decorated with a classic, homey feel.

Bobby Avery has been my barber for over 30 years. He’s friendly, personable and gives a damn fine haircut. He also has a full stable of pros who can cut any hair that walks in the door. Cannot recommend Avery’s high enough
