AWA African Hair Braiding

I went to this establishment as a walk in for my daughter to get her hair braided since her original appt was mysteriously cancelled and no one was able to braid her hair without an appt for her birthday. I was in dyer need of help. These wonderful ladies took me and my daughter and finished both heads in less than 5 hrs! I got there at 12:30 pm, we were gone by 5 pm!!!!! Braids were amazing!!’ They were neat!!! They were everything I asked for! The staff was polite and professional. The shop was clean and inviting! My hair is very short and they were able to HOOK YA GIRL UP!!! My daughter and I both love our hair! I have had even the strangest of ppl compliment us both on our braids. I got my Senegalese done last night. I was a walk in no appointment AWA took me right in. She was very pleasant kind hearted and passionate about doing my hair. She did a great job. It took her about 6 hours by herself. If felt like I walk into family. AWA has gain herself a new life customer. If you looking for a professional braids shop this is the place to go. 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍

I got my Senegalese twist done here on Friday they were not tight & painless. I had two ladies on my head & they were fast no long breaks or stopping.I came at 8:35am left at 2:00pm which it better than the other shops I’ve been too. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM❤️

The only redeeming quality about this place is the hair style, they are good at braiding but the shop is dirty, they ask for payment upfront, the never speak English ( which kinda makes you feel unwelcome ), and the toddler that is always there runs around unsupervised. I really wish they were a little more professional because I do like my hair when it is finished but I have to find another salon.
