I had a terrible experience. The technician hurt my toenail badly while trying to remove the cuticle and didn’t even apologize. I didn’t say anything at the time, but it was very uncomfortable. I mentioned that it was my first visit, and I honestly felt taken advantage of. It seemed like she purposely applied the polish too far from the cuticle so the gel wouldn’t last long and I’d have to come back sooner for a retouch. When I was leaving, she said, “See you soon,” which didn’t sit right with me. This was done only four days ago, and you can already see how far the polish is from the cuticle. On top of that, the nail polish looked very poorly done — there were bumps and bubbles throughout. I paid far too much for a service that didn’t even last a week. I went to this place by myself to help with my social anxiety and also treat myself to some nails. I mean I like the nails but my thumbs definitely are messed up and two different sizes. I also noticed that there’s a slight pink shade on some of my nails when I only wanted white. Some nails have a little too much product on them. The one thing I didn’t appreciate was the fact my nail technician kept looking behind me. Like he was waiting for people. He also kept going on his phone too. every time his regular clients came in, he mostly spoke to them while doing my nails. I’m not sure if this normal behavior for a salon but I honestly rather try another place next time. :( It just felt like I didn’t matter as much as them. Should have read the reviews before I came here. Horrible experience. Went in for a simple pedicure. Had my feet soaking in water for 45 minutes before someone even started on me! Nail tech rushed in literally 30 minutes before they were supposed to close and rushed through my polish. Toes aren’t even polished in some areas. And you can see where she just dropped a glob of paint. Was definitely not worth the $35 spent.
