Where do I even begin with all the incredible things about Kate? She’s not just a hair extraordinaire — she makes you feel like family and will always be such a big cheerleader in your life. As someone who genuinely loves getting their hair done, I had some really traumatizing hair salon experiences when I lived in LA so I promised myself when I moved to PDX in 2018 I would really research and find the right hair specialist for me. So after I moved, I started searching and searching. I scrolled through countless profiles until my eyes were blurry — but Kate kept standing out. I hadn’t even met her yet, and somehow I already knew: this was the one person I wanted to see. Kate is perfect! I basically just show up and say you’ve got this and she always does. She’s been doing my hair for 6 years now and I never feel more pampered or taken care of than when I leave. Obsessively taking photos of myself and refusing to wash my hair to keep her handiwork intact as long as possible. Babe as a salon is also a super sweet space with a bright joyful atmosphere! Cannot recommend it enough!

Ditto @ Annie Hindes’ review. Kate is the absolute best of the best! She always knows just what to do. Whenever I plop down in Kate’s chair it feels like no has time passed and we are immediately cackling and telling ghost stories. I always leave feeling like the queen that I am :) Kate also did a great job with the space; the salon itself is gorgeous!
