Bamboo Massage

A Dear friend told me about her experience yesterday at the location. Her hero husband is disabled and just wanted a shoulder massage. I’ve never felt so bad for my husband as I did today. Ronny wanted a massage on his shoulders as he uses his arms for everything so he is in pain a lot. we went to this shop, Bamboo Massage, in Katy Mills mall and they literally refused him service. I told the lady he just wanted a shoulder massage and the man that was there….The owner…. waved his arms in the air, and told Ronny to get out and leave that they were not going to service him. Ronny literally had tears in his eyes as we were leaving. He was embarrassed. he also felt bad for me and he just wanted to go home. Nope! #TeamCortez

Very bad experience. I ordered a 30-minute service for $40. I paid with a $100 bill, and the person only gave me $50 back. They told me I had to leave a $10 tip. I said no, and they got upset. They didn't want to give me my change until some time passed, but they kept harassing me about the tip. How is it possible that they demand a tip? That's supposed to be optional. I will never go back to that place.

Bamboo Massage was honestly a bad experience for me. The massage was extremely painful to the point where I couldn’t even relax, and it felt like they weren’t listening when I asked them to be more gentle. On top of that, they pushed really exaggerated tip expectations at the end, which made the whole visit uncomfortable. Definitely a 1-star experience for me.

My son and I did the 10 min chair massage and it was honestly one of the best massages I’ve ever had. Very skilled and experienced. Ambiance was relaxing. Very clean. Will definitely go back

A disturbing incident of discrimination has occurred at your establishment. A wheelchair-bound retired Police Officer, who was injured in the line of duty, was refused massage services and told to leave your place of business. This decision seems to stem from him being in a wheelchair and assuming that you wouldn't be able to add "extra" charges or tips. Additionally, based on prevlious customer reviews, concerns have been raised about your business practices, including adding extra charges and tips, and at times demanding gratuities. This behavior is deplorable, disgusting and despicable and will be brought to the attention of the Katy Mills Corporate Office.
